Collectively our members inspire, connect, and share knowledge and best practice with one another to create real value that leads to community growth and success. This unique transfer of wisdom in a welcoming, community-focused environment supports growing human capital, nurtures emerging talent and helps to make a major contribution to the sustainable transformation of the economy.

We are known for exceptional services to help corporates meet their BBBEE Targets and for Tax Rebates purpose among others to provide ready made 51% plus well trained and tested companies to provide good and services that fit in any corporate supply chain need.

The Honeymoon Development Foundation (HDF) supports community development, helping individuals to develop, create new opportunities and grow their human capital. Founded in 2018, we have grown from 150 founding members to a 5000 strong cross-sector peer group of like-minded people who regularly come together online, in conferences and networking locally in different regions across the South African country to share ideas, knowledge, connections, inspiration and opportunities.

We are a duly registered Non Profit Company with the Companies IPC and have been issued with Section 18A SARS Tax Exemption Certificate as a Public Benefit Organization. We are a Level 1 BBBEE Contributor, 100% Black led, managed and controlled.

Our headquarters are situated at 272 Oak Avenue, Atrium Terraces Building, Randburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng, 2194.

WHAT WE OFFER

Basic Human Needs:

Help ensure shelter, basic medical care, access to nutritious food, and safety for the most vulnerable residents in most vulnerable parts of South Africa, Rural and Townships.

Economic Opportunity:

Help foster interconnected and culturally vibrant communities in which low‐income residents have the tools and opportunities necessary for jobs and careers that lead to economic self‐sufficiency.

Education:

Help increase Grade12 Student achievement and graduation rates in targeted low‐income neighbour-hoods.

Donors:

Increase donors of all types who give more strategically to their own objectives and to Honeymoon Development Foundation’s objectives.

Organizations:

Increase the impact of our work across the country, working with corporates and government bodies including international donors in alignment with Honeymoon Development Foundation ’s community‐impact objectives. 

Community Leaders:

Increase the ability of leaders from all sectors to serve the community through their connections with Honeymoon Development Foundation

SA Cultural Face

2024 edition unveils the most prestigious event of the year braised with colorful South African Culture. The pageant will unveil 18 contestants from across South Africa's nine provinces. Each province will be represented by two gorgeous ladies. These 18 ladies will be competing to be crowned SA Cultural Face 2024 during festive season on the 06 December later this year. Organized by Honeymoon Development Foundation NPC.

Batallion Easter Network

We welcome you to the most awaited event of the year during Easter Holidays in Mpumalanga, Batallion Easter Network, immerse yourself in a world of excitement, thrills, and unforgettable family moments. Batallion Easter Network is proud to present the Easter celebration, promising an extravaganza that will leave you and your loved ones with cherished memories. Guests will enjoy arts and craft activities, live music, refreshments, opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and each child will leave with a wooden Easter egg. Tickets are sold from Children to Adults.

Batallion Athletics Marathon

This the Championships Marathon incorporating Sports Athletics - The marathon is a long-distance foot race with a distance of 42km road race,  Through this Athletics Marathon proceeds, Honeymoon Development Foundation provides educational and emotional support for orphaned children in various local communities. HDF Provides Financial Support and Emotional Care to Orphaned Youth in communities. Hosted during Youth Month of June each year.
